Brookline Massachusetts Troop 6 Mission Statement

Brookline's Troop 6 is a Boy Scout troop with volunteer adult leadership helping boys on the path to adulthood. Boys learn camping, hiking, first aid, athletic games, citizenship, service, and leadership skills through fun and safe activities. We are celebrating our 91st year and our 91st Eagle Scout. We currently meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 and schedule a trip once a month. Our chartering organization is the Church of Our Savior on Monmouth Street. We are part of Boy Scout's Boston Minuteman Council. We are also from the Brookline community and attempt to reflect and honor the cultural, ethnic, religious, and lifestyle diversity that is Brookline, MA.

TROOP 6 WINS KLONDIKE DERBY
Februrary 8th, 2008

Five scouts camped out in a lean-to as part of the annual Klondike Derby.  Our scouts did very well at each station of the competition.  Out of a possible 100 points, they scored 96 at orienteering station, 100 at camping, and amazingly, 105 at the First Aid station.  Everyone was courteous and worked together as a team.  Troop 6 placed first at the Klondike Derby again.
Congratulations to everyone for the great job they did.
