BSA Troop 6 : Brookline, MAThe Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. For nearly a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes — and through nearly a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society. Brookline's Troop 6 teaches boys camping, hiking, first aid, athletic games, citizenship, service, and leadership skills through fun and safe activities. Established in 1916, we are part of Boy Scout's Boston Minuteman Council, and have 91 Eagle Scouts. We currently meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7- 8:30 and schedule a trip once a month. We . Being from the Brookline community we attempt to reflect and honor the cultural, ethnic, religious, and lifestyle diversity that is Brookline, MA. Our chartering organization is the Church of Our Savior on Monmouth Street.
